Video
Production and Editing
Quartz Productions can produce a cost effective digital quality (DV) video for you whether it is to promote a product or company. We offer a full service including consulting with you over the script, followed by storyboarding, filming, editing and producing. We can also produce MPEG and AVI movies from your video. Click here to find out more.
We can also edit your pre-filmed material. The finished result is a digital (DV) master tape which is every bit as good as your original footage. This is ideal for taking VHS or Betacam copies.
We also have an extensive library of video footage, some of which has been used by the BBC, Channel 4 and regional television in the UK.
Apart from our own range of videos such as The Axe Valley, we have produced training videos for organisations such as the British Red Cross. We have also been commissioned to produce videos for specialist audiences and have done work for various local councils. This includes "Farming the East Devon Way", a video aimed at primary school children which describes the importance of farming to produce our food along with the modern methods used.
As a guide to our competitive costs, we can produce a 5 minute video on digital (DV) tape from £1000, or a 10 minute video from £1850. The exact cost depends on a great many factors, such as location, complexity, use of a presenter etc. However we would give you a firm quote before starting work on any video project. We will discuss your video requirements without any obligation. Please contact us.
Quartz Productions can
make AVI clips from your own video or movie for inclusion on your own website or CD. A
typical AVI movie for a website would cost £30 for the first AVI and £20 for each
subsequent AVI made at the same time. This price is based on a file size of up to
1,4Mb/AVI for delivery on a floppy disc or email. Most of the AVIs on this web site are
0.5Mb or less. Larger AVIs can easily be produced and sent via CD.
AVI movies are featured on this website and include a steam
train in the Axe Valley, an AVI from the British Red
Cross training video, fish jumping from our
library of video rushes and the wheat harvest in
progress on one of Lord Clinton's farms in East Devon which is to be featured in the
forthcoming video, "Farming the East Devon Way".
