People History Wildlife Countryside
Quartz Productions have filmed and
produced a range of videos about the South West of England. They feature the people,
history, wildlife and countryside of Devon, Somerset and Dorset. Other
titles include Dragonflies, Farming, an Introduction to Flower Pressing as well as the Images range of videos which feature Dartmoor, Exeter and
the English Riviera. All the videos are available in different world

"The Axe Valley from source to sea".
A 1 hour 17minute video traces the route of the river Axe from
its source in Dorset through Somerset and into Devon. Spectacular countryside. PAL &
NTSC.
"West Country Magic - The Otter Valley".
A one hour video about the Otter Valley, countryside, history
and wildlife including badgers and unique footage of the sea trout migration up river. PAL
& NTSC.
"The Pearl of Dorset".
A 45 minute video about the famous coastal town of Lyme
Regis and the surrounding countryside of West Dorset and Devon. Highlights include
the Cobb and Undercliff nature reserve which were featured in the Oscar winning film The
French Lieutenant's Woman. The video also features the history and fossil rich seashore.

"The Music of the River Axe".
A 34 minute video commissioned by East Devon District Council.
Under the guidance of staff from the world famous Bournemouth Sinfonietta orchestra, the
pupils of the lower Axe Valley used music to interpret the past present and future of the
river which was inspired by a series environmental field trips to the beautiful valley.
