“East Devon Nature” explores the fascinating and often overlooked
wildlife of the beautiful East Devon countryside. Watch badgers feeding at night, see young sparrowhawks in their nest high in the tree tops and the majestic Osprey diving for fish in the River Axe. Enjoy watching the beautiful wild flowers of a Devon Hedgerow and hear the ‘churring’ of a moth-catching bird from Africa called the Nightjar. We take a look at the dramatic coastline, which is known as the famous ‘Jurassic Coast’ and is England’s first natural World Heritage Site. East Devon is home to many internationally important wildlife habitats including heathland, wetland and river estuaries.
